Apple has launched its new smart home hub, HomeView, which can act as a central control point for smart home devices. The device comes in two versions, measures 7 inches wide, and features a single FaceTime camera on the front. Pre-orders for HomeView have started, with availability scheduled for November 13.
According to reports, the Apple HomeView costs $299 and supports up to six iCloud profiles, running on HomeView Software. The launch of HomeView marks a significant push by Apple into the smart home market, competing with products like Amazon Echo Show and Google Nest Hub.
As part of its smart home strategy, Apple has also announced other new devices, including the HomePod Mini 2 smart speaker and the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K. With HomeView, users can expect a more integrated and streamlined experience in controlling their smart home devices.
